Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
HAST THOU ever considered [the kind of man] who gives the lie to all moral law? 1 That is the one who treats the orphan with harshness, 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 Ah, woe unto worshippers 4 Those who are neglectful of their prayer. 5 Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men), 6 But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs. 7
