We did indeed send Noah to his people and he lived among them a thousand years save fifty. Eventually the Flood overtook them while they were engaged in wrongdoing. 14 And We rescued him and those with him in the ship, and made of it a portent for the peoples. 15 We sent Abraham and he said to his people: “Serve Allah and fear Him. This is better for you if you only knew. 16 You worship only [lifeless] idols instead of God, and [thus] you give visible shape to a lie! Behold, those [things and beings] that you worship instead of God have it not in their power to provide sustenance for you: seek, then, all [your] sustenance from God, and worship Him [alone] and be grateful to Him: [for] unto Him you shall be brought back! 17 If you belie me, other nations before you also belied. It is only for a Messenger to deliver the clear deliverance. 18 See they not how Allah originates creation, then repeats it: truly that is easy for Allah. 19 Say: “Go about the earth and see how He created for the first time, and then Allah will recreate life.” Surely, Allah has power over everything. 20 He shall torment whomsoever He will, and shall show mercy unto whomsoever He will, and unto Him ye shall be returned. 21 And you will not cause failure [to Allah] upon the earth or in the heaven. And you have not other than Allah any protector or any helper. 22

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
