۞ Allah is the one who created you from weakness, then made after weakness strength, then made after strength weakness and white hair. He creates what He wills, and He is the Knowing, the Competent. 54 On the Day that the Hour (of Reckoning) will be established, the transgressors will swear that they tarried not but an hour: thus were they used to being deluded! 55 But those who were given the knowledge and belief will say: "You have tarried, according to the Book of God, as long as the Day of Resurrection, and this is the Day of Resurrection, but 'you do not know." 56 So that will be the Day when the excuses of the wrong-doers will not avail them, nor will they be asked to make amends. 57 We have told people various parables in this Quran. Even if you had shown them a miracle, the unbelievers would have said, "You are only the followers of falsehood". 58 Thus doth Allah seal the hearts of those who know not. 59 Therefore be patient; surely the promise of Allah is true and let not those who have no certainty hold you in light estimation. 60
