۞ Say to them, "I exhort you to do one thing: and that is to stand up before God in pairs, or singly, and then reflect. You will thus realize that your companion is not afflicted with madness. He is only a warner, warning you of an impending severe chastisement." 46 Say, “Whatever fee I might have asked from you upon this, is yours; my reward is only upon Allah; and He is Witness over all things.” 47 Say: Lo! my Lord hurleth the truth. (He is) the Knower of Things Hidden. 48 Say, "The truth has come. Falsehood has vanished and it will not come back again". 49 Say thou: if ever I go astray, I shall stray only against myself, and if I remain guided it is because of that which my Lord hath revealed unto me. Verily He is Hearing, Nigh. 50 Would that you could see how the unbelievers will be terrified by death from which they cannot escape. They will be seized from a nearby place 51 and they say, 'We believe in it'; but how can they reach from a place far away, 52 seeing they disbelieved in it before, guessing at the Unseen from a place far away? 53 And they will be shut off from that which they will eagerly desire, as shall be done with the likes of them of yore. Verily they have been in doubt perplexing. 54
