The food of the Zakkum tree 43 shall be the food of the sinful. 44 Like molten copper boiling in the belly 45 Like the boiling of scalding water. 46 Lay hold of him, and drag him unto the midst of the Flaming Fire. 47 Then pour upon his head the torment of boiling water. 48 'Taste! Surely thou art the mighty, the noble. 49 This is the torment that you persistently doubted". 50 Indeed the pious are in a place of peace. 51 Within gardens and springs, 52 Dressed in fine silk and (also) in thick silk, facing each other, 53 We shall unite them to maidens with big black and white lovely eyes. 54 They will be offered all kinds of fruits, in peace and security. 55 They will never taste death therein except the first death (of this world), and He will save them from the torment of the blazing Fire, 56 By the beneficence of your Lord. This will be the great success. 57 And We have made this Qur’an easy in your language, for them to understand. 58 So wait thou and watch; for they (too) are waiting. 59
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: Smoke (Al-Dukhaan). Sent down in Mecca after Vanity (Al-Zukhruf) before Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
