And heaven -- We built it with might, and We extend it wide. 47 And We made the earth a base, so how well do We lay out! 48 And We created all things in pairs, so that you may ponder. 49 Flee, therefore, to Allah. Surely I am a clear warner to you from Him; 50 And do not set up with Allah another god: surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 Similarly, there came not to those before them any messenger except that they said, "A magician or a madman." 52 Have they, perchance, handed down this [way of thinking] as a legacy unto one another? Nay, they are people filled with overweening arrogance! 53 Turn away from them. You will not be blamed. 54 And advise, for advice benefits the Muslims. 55 I have not created the jinns and men but to worship Me. 56 I do not desire from them any sustenance and I do not desire that they should feed Me. 57 Verily Allah! He is the Provider, Owner of power, Firm. 58 And lo! for those who (now) do wrong there is an evil day like unto the evil day (which came for) their likes (of old); so let them not ask Me to hasten on (that day). 59 So woe to the unbelievers, for that day of theirs that they are promised. 60
