The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the Event will come to pass 1 There is no belying its coming to pass-- 2 some shall be abased and others exalted. 3 When the earth will tremble, shivering. 4 The mountains bruised and crushed, 5 So that they become a scattered dust, 6 And you become [of] three kinds: 7 Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!) 8 Companions of the Left, what are the Companions of the Left? 9 And the Outstrippers, the Outstrippers 10 Those are the ones brought near [to Allah] 11 In gardens of bliss [will they dwell] 12 A multitude of those of old 13 And a few of those (foremost) will be from the later time (generations). 14 upon close-wrought couches 15 reclining upon them, facing one another [in love]. 16 There will circulate among them young boys made eternal 17 Carrying bowls and pitchers – and cups filled with wine flowing before them. 18 No headache will they have therefrom, nor will they be intoxicated - 19 And such fruits as they fancy, 20 Bird meats that they relish, 21 And [with them will be their] companions pure, most beautiful of eye, 22 beautiful as pearls hidden in their shells. 23 A reward for what they used to do. 24 Therein they shall hear no idle talk, no cause of sin, 25 but only the saying: 'Peace, Peace' 26 As for those of the right hand -- how (happy) those of the right hand -- 27 Among thorn-less lote-trees. 28 and serried acacias, 29 and spreading shade 30 And water gushing, 31 And fruits numberless, 32 Neither intercepted nor forbidden, 33 and raised couches 34 Lo! We have created them a (new) creation 35 And have made them virgins. 36 chaste, loving companions of the same age 37 like of age for the Companions of the Right. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
