The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
When the sun Kuwwirat (wound round and lost its light and is overthrown). 1 And when the stars shall dart down, 2 And when the hills are moved, 3 And when the she-camels big with young shall be abandoned, 4 when the savage beasts shall be brought together, 5 And when the seas rise, 6 and when all human beings are coupled [with their deeds,] 7 when the buried female infant is asked 8 for what sin she was killed, 9 the records of deeds are made public, 10 And when the heaven shall be stripped off and taken away from its place; 11 And when hell is lighted, 12 And when the Garden is brought nigh, 13 then shall a soul know what it has produced. 14 No! I swear by the slinkers, 15 the planets that run their course and set, 16 by the night swarming, 17 And by oath of the morning when it takes birth. 18 Most surely it is the Word of an honored messenger, 19 The processor of strength, having an honorable place with the Lord of the Dominion, 20 One (to be) obeyed, and faithful in trust. 21 Your Companion is not mad, 22 Surely he beheld Him on the clear horizon. 23 he is not grudging of the Unseen. 24 Nor is this the utterance of a devil worthy to be stoned. 25 Whither then go ye? 26 It is not except a reminder to the worlds 27 For whoever wills among you to take a right course. 28 And you will not, unless (it be) that Allah wills, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 29
God the Almighty always says the truth.
