The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the heavens with constellations, 1 by the promised day, 2 And the witness and the witnessed, 3 Accursed be the People of the Ditch! 4 with fire abounding in fuel, 5 They sat by it 6 and were themselves witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 They had no other reason for hating them except that they believed in God the mighty, worthy of praise, 8 to whom belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. God is witness over all things. 9 Lo! they who persecute believing men and believing women and repent not, theirs verily will be the doom of hell, and theirs the doom of burning. 10 [But,] verily, they who attain to faith and do righteous deeds shall [in the life to come] have gardens through which running waters flow - that triumph most great! 11 Lo! the punishment of thy Lord is stern. 12 Surely it is He who originates, and brings again, 13 and He is the All-forgiving, the All-loving, 14 Lord of the Throne, the Glorious, 15 Doer of whatsoever He intendeth. 16 Did the story of the armies reach you? 17 of Pharaoh and of Thamood? 18 In fact, the disbelievers had always rejected (Our revelations). 19 However, God encompassed their activities. 20 Nay, but it is a glorious Qur'an. 21 [Inscribed] in a Preserved Slate. 22
