The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By heaven and the night-star! 1 And what could make thee conceive what it is that comes in the night? 2 (It is) the star of piercing brightness; 3 There is no soul but has a protector over it. 4 Now let man but think from what he is created! 5 He is created of water pouring forth, 6 issuing from between the loins [of man] and the pelvic arch [of woman]. 7 Indeed, Allah, to return him [to life], is Able. 8 A day when the secrets will be examined. 9 He will have no strength or helper. 10 By the sky which returns [rain] 11 and the earth, bursting forth with plants! 12 It is surely a decisive utterance; 13 and is no idle tale. 14 Behold, they [who refuse to accept it] devise many a false argument [to disprove its truth]; 15 and I am cunningly devising. 16 So grant the unbelievers a respite: let them alone for a while. 17
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
