The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 And remembers (glorifies) the Name of his Lord (worships none but Allah), and prays (five compulsory prayers and Nawafil additional prayers). 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
