Say: 'Travel the land and see what was the fate of those who belied' 11 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "To whom belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth?" Say: "To Allah. He has prescribed Mercy for Himself. Indeed He will gather you together on the Day of Resurrection, about which there is no doubt. Those who destroy themselves will not believe [in Allah as being the only Ilah (God), and Muhammad SAW as being one of His Messengers, and in Resurrection, etc.]. 12 ۞ His is whatsoever dwelleth in the night and the day; and He is the Hearer, the Knower. 13 Say, "Is it other than Allah I should take as a protector, Creator of the heavens and the earth, while it is He who feeds and is not fed?" Say, [O Muhammad], "Indeed, I have been commanded to be the first [among you] who submit [to Allah] and [was commanded], 'Do not ever be of the polytheists.' " 14 (Muhammad), say, "Because of the torment of the Great Day, I am afraid to disobey my Lord". 15 He from whom it is averted on that day, Allah indeed has shown mercy to him; and this is a manifest achievement. 16 And if Allah should touch you with adversity, there is no remover of it except Him. And if He touches you with good - then He is over all things competent. 17 He has the supreme hold over His servants. He is All-Wise, All-Aware. 18 Say, "What thing is greatest in testimony?" Say, "Allah is witness between me and you. And this Qur'an was revealed to me that I may warn you thereby and whomever it reaches. Do you [truly] testify that with Allah there are other deities?" Say, "I will not testify [with you]." Say, "Indeed, He is but one God, and indeed, I am free of what you associate [with Him]." 19 Those whom We have vouchsafed the Book recognise him even as they recognise their own children. Yet those who have lost themselves will not believe. 20
