The people of 'Ad accused the messengers of lies. 123 When their brother Hud said to them: "Will you not take heed? 124 I am a trustworthy Messengers sent to you. 125 so fear you God, and obey you me. 126 And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds. 127 Build ye on every eminence a landmark in vanity? 128 "And do you get for yourselves palaces (fine buildings) as if you will live therein for ever. 129 And whenever you apply force become tyrannical. 130 So fear Allah and obey me. 131 And fear Him Who hath aided you with that which ye know. 132 He has given you flocks and sons, 133 "And Gardens and Springs. 134 'Indeed, I fear for you the chastisement of a dreadful day.' 135 They said, 'Alike it is to us, whether thou admonishest, or art not one of the admonishers; 136 This is but a custom of the ancients. 137 And we are not going to be tormented. 138 Eventually they gave the lie to him and We destroyed them. Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 139 Surely, your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 140

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
