We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 guided them to the right path, 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
