And indeed, warnings came to the people of Fir'aun (Pharaoh) [through Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)]. 41 They rejected each one of Our signs. So We seized them with the grip of one mighty and powerful. 42 Are your disbelievers better than those, or have ye some immunity in the scriptures? 43 Or do they say: "We acting together can defend ourselves"? 44 (Let them know that) this united group will soon run away in defeat. 45 In fact, the Hour of Doom is the time for them to suffer. The suffering of this hour is the most calamitous and the most bitter (of all suffering). 46 The evil-doers are victims of error and madness. 47 The Day they will be dragged through the Fire on their faces, (they will hear:) "Taste ye the touch of Hell!" 48 BEHOLD, everything have We created in due measure and proportion; 49 And Our command is only a fleeting one – like the batting of an eyelid. 50 And We have indeed destroyed your kind, so is there one who would ponder? 51 All that they do is noted in (their) Books (of Deeds): 52 every action, small or great, is noted down. 53 Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and rivers, 54 In the seat of honor with a most Powerful King. 55
