Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the bright forenoon, 1 And [by] the night when it covers with darkness, 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor has He become displeased, 3 The Last shall be better for you than the First. 4 And verily, your Lord will give you (all i.e. good) so that you shall be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and give thee shelter (and care)? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient. 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with harshness, 9 and chide not him who asks, 10 But the bounty of the Lord - rehearse and proclaim! 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
