Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By those that winnow with a winnowing 1 And (the clouds) that bear heavy weight of water; 2 And those who move (on the water) gently, 3 And those (angels) who distribute (provisions, rain, and other blessings) by (Allah's) Command; 4 Undoubtedly, the promise you are given is surely true. 5 and, verily, judgment is bound to come! 6 By the heaven with its passages, 7 You are indeed in different opinions regarding this Qur’an. 8 He is turned away from it who would be turned away. 9 Perish the conjecturers 10 who are heedless in the immersion. 11 They ask, "When will be the Day of Judgment and Justice?" 12 It will be on the day when they will be roasted in the fire. 13 "Taste ye your trial! This is what ye used to ask to be hastened!" 14 Surely those who fear God and follow the straight path will be amidst gardens and fresh springs of water, 15 Taking that which their Lord will vouchsafe unto hem. Verily they have been before that well-doers. 16 They slept little in the night, 17 And every morning asked forgiveness, 18 They assigned a share of their property for the needy and the destitute. 19 And on the earth are signs for those who have Faith with certainty, 20 And also in your ownselves. Will you not then see? 21 And in heaven is your provision, and that you are promised. 22 Then, by the Lord of heaven and earth, this is the very Truth, as much as the fact that ye can speak intelligently to each other. 23
