۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 And indeed, it is an oath - if you could know - [most] great. 76 Indeed, it is a noble Qur'an 77 In a Book Hidden. 78 None shall touch it save the purified ones. 79 a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 80 Is it such a Message that ye would hold in light esteem? 81 You live by calling it a lie. 82 Then how is it that when the (dying) breath is withdrawn into the throat (and rattles), 83 And you at the moment are looking on, 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 So why is it not, that if you are not to be repaid, – 86 Can you not bring him back? (Answer) if you are truthful 87 [ALL OF YOU are destined to die.] Now if one happens to be of those who are drawn close unto God, 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 And if he is one of the People on the Right, 90 he will be welcomed by the words: “Peace to you” from the People on the Right. 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 a welcome of burning despair [awaits him in the life to come,] 93 And burning in Hell-fire. 94 Verily, this is indeed the truth of truths! 95 So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. 96
