Are ye harder to create or the heaven which He hath builded? 27 High has He reared its vault and formed it in accordance with what it was meant to be; 28 and darkened its night, and brought forth its forenoon; 29 And the earth, He expanded it after that. 30 He brought out its water and its pastures from it, 31 And stabilized the mountains 32 As convenience for you and your cattle. 33 But when the great disaster cometh, 34 The day when man remembers all that he had done, 35 And Hell made visible to him who can see, 36 Then as for him who waxed exorbitant, 37 And who chose the life of the world, 38 will find himself in Hell; 39 but one who fears to stand before his Lord and restrained himself from base desires, 40 Will surely have Paradise for abode. 41 THEY WILL ASK thee [O Prophet] about the Last Hour: "When will it come to pass?" 42 In what [position] are you that you should mention it? 43 Unto thy Lord belongeth (knowledge of) the term thereof. 44 You are but a warner for those who fear it. 45 On the Day they see it, they will feel as though they had stayed (in the grave) no more than one evening or one morning. 46
