Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 He certainly has a strong love for wealth and riches. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
