God does not forgive that compeers be ascribed to Him, and absolves all else whatsoever He will. And he who associates compeers with God has indeed wandered far astray. 116 (The Pagans), leaving Him, call but upon female deities: They call but upon satan the persistent rebel! 117 whom God has rejected. He said [to God], "I will assuredly take a number of Your servants, 118 And mislead them and tempt them, and order them to slit the ears of animals; and order them to alter God's creation." He who holds Satan as friend in place of God will assuredly be damned to perdition. 119 he holds out promises to them, and fills them with vain desires: but Satan's promises are nothing but delusion. 120 These are they whose abode is hell, and they shall not find any refuge from it. 121 And (as for) those who believe and do good, We will make them enter into gardens beneath which rivers flow, to abide therein for ever; (it is) a promise of Allah, true (indeed), and who is truer of word than Allah? 122 It may not accord with your wishful thinking - nor with the wishful thinking of the followers of earlier revelation - [that] he who does evil shall be requited for it, and shall find none to protect him from God, and none to bring him succour, 123 Whoever does good and believes -whether he is male or female - such shall enter the Garden, and they shall not be wronged in the slightest. 124 Who is better in religion than he who surrendereth his purpose to Allah while doing good (to men) and followeth the tradition of Abraham, the upright? Allah (Himself) chose Abraham for friend. 125 And to Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. And Allah is Ever Encompassing all things. 126
