We have made constellations in the sky and decorated them for the onlookers. 16 And We have guarded it from every Satan damned. 17 Except one who steals a hearing and is pursued by a clear burning flame. 18 And the earth - We have spread it and cast therein firmly set mountains and caused to grow therein [something] of every well-balanced thing. 19 And We have appointed thereon for you livelihoods and also for those of whom ye are not the providers. 20 There is not a thing but its storehouses are with Us. But We only send down each thing in an appropriate measure: 21 And We send the fecundating winds, then cause the rain to descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water (in abundance), though ye are not the guardians of its stores. 22 It is We who give life and We who give death, and We are the One who will abide. 23 And We have already known the preceding [generations] among you, and We have already known the later [ones to come]. 24 Lo! thy Lord will gather them together. Lo! He is Wise, Aware. 25

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
