۞ So I swear by Mawaqi (setting or the mansions, etc.) of the stars (they traverse). 75 and, indeed, that is a most mighty oath, if you only knew -- 76 That (this) is indeed a noble Qur'an 77 inscribed in a well-guarded Book, 78 Which none toucheth save the purified, 79 a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 Why, but when the soul leaps to the throat of the dying 83 right before your very eyes? 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 why, then, if [you think that] you are not truly dependent [on Us,] 86 can you not cause that [ebbing life] to return - if what you claim is true? 87 (If a dying soul) is of those near to God, 88 there shall be calmness and ease, a Garden of Delight. 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right." 91 But if one happens to be of those who are wont to call the truth a lie, and [thus] go astray, 92 Then the welcome will be boiling water 93 He will burn in Hell. 94 This is indeed an utmost certainty. 95 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
