Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah) before The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ No! I swear by the Day of Resurrection. 1 and by the self accusing soul (that you will certainly be resurrected). 2 What, does the human think We shall never gather his bones? 3 Yea indeed, We are able to make whole his very finger-tips! 4 None the less man chooses to deny what lies ahead of him, 5 He asketh: When will be this Day of Resurrection? 6 So when the eyes will be blinded by light. 7 And the moon will be eclipsed, 8 when the sun and the moon are brought together, 9 on that Day will man say: “Whither the refuge?” 10 No! There is no refuge! 11 With your Lord alone will be the retreat on that day. 12 That Day will Man be told (all) that he put forward, and all that he put back. 13 Nay, man will be evidence against himself, 14 even though they make excuses. 15 Move not your tongue with it, [O Muhammad], to hasten with recitation of the Qur'an. 16 Indeed assembling the Qur’an and reading it are upon Us. 17 When We recite it, follow its recitation (by Us). 18 Then indeed, to explain its details to you is upon Us. 19 No indeed; but you love the hasty world, 20 and are heedless of the Everlasting Life. 21 How many faces will be refulgent on that Day, 22 Looking to their Lord. 23 and upon that day faces shall be scowling, 24 knowing that a crushing calamity is about to befall them. 25 No indeed; when it reaches the clavicles 26 and it is said, 'Who is an enchanter?' 27 And he bethinketh that it is the time of parting. 28 and calf is inter-twined with calf. 29 On that Day you will be driven to your Lord. 30

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
