The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
