The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the chargers panting, 1 and produce sparks 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 And to that fact he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 Verily their Lord on that Day will be of them Aware. 11
