The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
