In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Those who reject Allah and hinder (men) from the Path of Allah,- their deeds will Allah render astray (from their mark). 1 And those who believe and work righteous works and believe in that which hath been revealed unto Muhammad - and it is the truth from their Lord - He shall expiate their misdeeds from them and shall make good their state. 2 This is because the disbelievers have followed falsehood and the believers have followed the Truth from their Lord. Thus God explains to the human being their own prospects. 3 Now when ye meet in battle those who disbelieve, then it is smiting of the necks until, when ye have routed them, then making fast of bonds; and afterward either grace or ransom till the war lay down its burdens. That (is the ordinance). And if Allah willed He could have punished them (without you) but (thus it is ordained) that He may try some of you by means of others. And those who are slain in the way of Allah, He rendereth not their actions vain. 4 He will guide them and set their condition right 5 And bring them in unto the Garden which He hath made known to them. 6 Believers! If you succour God, He will succour you and make your footsteps firm. 7 As to those who disbelieve, perdition lies in store for them and Allah has reduced their works to nought. 8 That was because they were averse to what Allah had revealed; so He let their works go to waste. 9 ۞ Have they not journeyed in the land and seen the fate of those before them? Destroyed they were utterly by God; and a similar (fate) awaits the unbelievers. 10 that is because Allah is the Guardian of the believers, and the unbelievers have no guardian. 11
