Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have placed the signs of the Zodiac in the sky, and decked it out for those who can see; 16 And We have guarded it from every Satan damned. 17 Except the ones who listen on the sly, yet they are chased away by a shooting flame. 18 And the earth - We have spread it out wide, and placed on it mountains firm, and caused [life] of every kind to grow on it in a balanced manner, 19 And we have given unto you livelihoods therein, and unto those for whom ye provide not. 20 And there is not a thing but its (sources and) treasures (inexhaustible) are with Us; but We only send down thereof in due and ascertainable measures. 21 We let loose fertilizing winds, and bring water from the sky for you to drink; and you could not have stored it up for yourselves. 22 It is We who give life and cause things to die and We are the sole Heirs. 23 And assuredly We know those of you who have gone before and those who will come hereafter. 24 Lo! thy Lord will gather them together. Lo! He is Wise, Aware. 25
