It is He who sends down water from heaven, which provides drink for you and brings forth trees on which your herds feed. 10 He groweth for you thereby the corn and olives and date-palms and grapes and all kinds of fruit. Verily therein is a sign for a people who ponder. 11 He has made subject to you the Night and the Day; the sun and the moon; and the stars are in subjection by His Command: verily in this are Signs for men who are wise. 12 And all the [beauty of] many hues - which He has created for you on earth: in this, behold, there is a message for people who [are willing to] take it to heart! 13 It is He who subjected to you the sea, that you may eat of it fresh flesh, and bring forth out of it ornaments for you to wear; and thou mayest see the ships cleaving through it; and that you may seek of His bounty, and so haply you will be thankful. 14 And He hath cast into the earth firm hills that it quake not with you, and streams and roads that ye may find a way. 15 As well as many other signs, as by the stars (you) find direction. 16 So, could one who creates be like one who cannot? Will you not then contemplate? 17 If you tried to count God's blessings, you would never be able to number them. God is ever forgiving and most merciful. 18 And Allah knows what you conceal and what you reveal. 19 Those you call on besides God cannot create anything. They are themselves created. 20 (They are) dead, not living. And they know not when they will be raised. 21
