And recount to them the story of Abraham: 69 When he said to his father and his people: "What do you worship?" 70 They said: "We worship idols, and to them we are ever devoted." 71 'Do they hear you when you call on them' He asked. 72 or can they benefit or harm you?" 73 They said: Nay, we found our fathers doing so. 74 He said: Have you then considered what you have been worshipping: 75 “You and your forefathers preceding you.” 76 Lo! they are (all) an enemy unto me, save the Lord of the Worlds, 77 who created me. It is He who guides me; 78 And He Who gives me to eat and gives me to drink: 79 And when I sicken, then He healeth me. 80 “And He will give me death, then resurrect me.” 81 And who I aspire that He will forgive me my sin on the Day of Recompense." 82 (And then Abraham prayed): "My Lord, endow me with knowledge and wisdom and join me with the righteous, 83 and grant me the power to convey the truth unto those who will come after me, 84 and place me amongst the inheritors of the Garden of Bliss. 85 "Forgive my father, for that he is among those astray; 86 and disgrace me not on the Day when people will be raised to life, 87 the Day on which neither wealth will be of any use, nor children, 88 except what is done in obedience to God with a submissive heart. 89 And the garden shall be brought near for those who guard (against evil), 90 and the Fire will be uncovered for those who strayed, 91 And it will be said unto them: Where is (all) that ye used to worship 92 Other than God? Can they save you or even save themselves?" 93 Then the idols and those who strayed will be hurled into the Fire headlong, one upon another, 94 And the soldiers of Iblees, all together. 95 They shall say, as they dispute there one with another, 96 “By oath of Allah, we were indeed in open error.” 97 "'When we held you as equals with the Lord of the Worlds; 98 And none but the guilty led us astray; 99 Now we have none to intercede for us, 100 nor do we have a truly sincere friend. 101 Were there for us a return, we would be of the believers. 102 In all this, behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 103 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 104

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
