And those who disbelieve say: "When we have become dust, we and our fathers, shall we really be brought forth (again)? 67 We have certainly been promised this, we and our fathers before; these are naught but stories of the ancients 68 Say: "Go all over the earth and behold what happened in the end to those [who were thus] lost in sin!" 69 Do not grieve over them, nor feel distressed at their schemes. 70 Yet they say: "When will this promise come to pass? (Tell Us) if you speak the truth." 71 Say: "Perhaps that which you wish to hasten on, may be close behind you. 72 And verily thine Lord is full of grace for mankind, but most of them give not thanks. 73 And indeed, your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they declare. 74 And there is nothing hidden in the heaven and the earth, but is in a Clear Book (i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 75 Surely this Quran declares to the children of Israel most of what they differ in. 76 And lo! it is a guidance and a mercy for believers. 77 Verily thy Lord will decide between them by His Decree: and He is Exalted in Might, All-Knowing. 78 Therefore rely on Allah; surely you are on the clear truth. 79 Verily thou canst not make the dead hear, nor canst thou make the deaf hear the call when they flee turning their backs. 80 just as thou canst not lead the blind [of heart] out of their error; none canst thou make hear save such as [are willing to] believe in Our messages, and thus surrender themselves unto Us. 81 ۞ When the sentence will have been passed against them, We shall bring forth beastly brutes from the earth who will torment them, for men certainly do not believe Our signs. 82
