Al-Naml 7 of 7
And on the day when We will gather from every nation a party from among those who rejected Our communications, then they shall be formed into groups. 83 Till, when they come (before their Lord at the place of reckoning), He will say: "Did you deny My Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) when you comprehended them not in knowledge, or what (else) was it that you used to do?" 84 And the word shall come to pass against them because they were unjust, so they shall not speak. 85 Have they not seen how We have made the night for them to rest in and the day to see? Surely, there are signs in this for the nation who believe. 86 On the Day when the trumpet is blown, whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth will be struck with terror, except for those whom God wishes to spare. All shall come to Him in utter humility. 87 And you see the mountains, you think them to be solid, and they shall pass away as the passing away of the cloud-- the handiwork of Allah Who has made every thing thoroughly; surely He is Aware of what you do. 88 Whoever brings a good deed – for him is a reward better than it; and they will be safe from the terror on that Day. 89 But whosoever comes with evil will be flung face forward into the Fire. Can you expect reward for any thing but what you do? 90 [SAY, O Muhammad:] "I have been bidden to worship the Sustainer of this City - Him who has made it sacred, and unto whom all things belong: and I have been bidden to be of those who surrender themselves to Him, 91 And to recite the Qur'an." And whoever is guided is only guided for [the benefit of] himself; and whoever strays - say, "I am only [one] of the warners." 92 And proclaim, “All praise is to Allah – He will soon show you His signs so you will recognise them”; and (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) your Lord is not unaware of what you, O people, do.” 93

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
