Wherefore admonish thou! thou art not, by the grace of thy Lord, a soothsayer or a madman. 29 Or do they say: “He is a poet for whom we await an adverse turn of fortune.” 30 Say (O Muhammad SAW to them): "Wait! I am with you, among the waiters!" 31 Is this what their senses tell them, or are they a rebellious people? 32 Do they say: “He has himself fabricated the Qur'an?” No; the truth is that they are altogether averse to believing. 33 Let them then produce a recital like unto it,- If (it be) they speak the truth! 34 Or were they created without there being anything, or are they the creators? 35 Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Rather, they are not certain. 36 Or do they own the treasures of thy Lord? Or have they been given charge (thereof)? 37 Or do they have a ladder whereon they can climb and attempt to listen (to what is transpiring in the Higher Realm)? Then, let any of them who has listened to it produce a clear proof of it. 38 Or, [if you believe in God, how can you believe that] He has [chosen to have] daughters, whereas you yourselves would have [only] sons? 39 Do you (Muhammad) ask them for any payment (for your preaching) which they cannot afford? 40 Or is it that they have access to (the Truths in) the realm beyond sense-perception which they are writing down? 41 Or are they planning a conspiracy? So the conspiracy will befall only upon the disbelievers. 42 Or have they a god other than Allah? Glory be to Allah from what they set up (with Him). 43 Even if they were to see a part of the heavens falling down upon them, they would say, "It is only dense cloud". 44 So leave them until they meet their Day in which they will be struck insensible - 45 A Day whereon their plotting will avail them not at all, nor will they be succoured. 46 Surely a chastisement awaits the wrong-doers even before the coming of that Day; but most of them do not know. 47 And be patient, [O Muhammad], for the decision of your Lord, for indeed, you are in Our eyes. And exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord when you arise. 48 and also celebrate His praise at night, and at the retreat of the stars. 49
