▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
And for one who fears to stand before his Lord, are two Gardens. 46 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 47 (Gardens) with many branches. 48 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 49 Therein are two running fountains. 50 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 51 In which will be of every fruit two kinds. 52 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 53 [In such a paradise the blest will dwell,] reclining upon carpets lined with rich brocade; and the fruit of both these gardens will be within easy reach. 54 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 55 In these [gardens] will be mates of modest gaze, whom neither man nor invisible being will have touched ere then. 56 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 57 As though rubies and pearls. 58 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 59 Is the reward of goodness aught but goodness? 60 Which of the laudable attributes of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 61 Besides this, there will be two other gardens. 62 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 63 Of darkest verdant green -- 64 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 65 In these there will also be two springs gushing forth. 66 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 67 Wherein is fruit, the date-palm and pomegranate. 68 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 69 In them shall be good and pleasing. 70 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 71 Maidens (of Paradise, Houris) in cloistered cool pavilions. 72 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 73 [companions] whom neither man nor invisible being will have touched ere then. 74 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and fine carpets. 76 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 77 Blessed be the name of your Lord, the Lord of Majesty and Glory. 78

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
