۞ Nay, I swear by the setting of the stars -- 75 And verily that is a mighty oath, if ye but knew! 76 Behold, it is a truly noble discourse, 77 In a Book kept hidden 78 no one can touch it except the purified ones. 79 a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 80 How can you regard this discourse with disdain? 81 Do you make its denial your means of livelihood? 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 and that hour you are watching 84 But We (i.e. Our angels who take the soul) are nearer to him than you, but you see not, [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 27, Page 209] 85 If you are true to your claim that there is no Day of Judgment, 86 That you bring it back, if you are truthful? 87 But if he [the dying person] is one of those brought near to God, 88 Then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure. 89 And if he is one of the People on the Right, 90 (he will be greeted with): 'Peace be upon you, Companion of the Right' 91 And if he is one of those who give the lie (to this Message) and go astray, 92 Then the welcome will be boiling water 93 and the heat of a blazing fire! 94 Verily this! this is the very truth. 95 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 96
