Proof (Al-Bayyinah)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
The unbelievers among the People of the Book and the idolaters would never desist until the Clear Proof came to them. 1 An Apostle from God, reading out hallowed pages 2 Within which are correct writings. 3 Nor did those to whom the Book had been given split up until after the Proof (of the Right Way) had come to them. 4 They were commanded only to serve God with all-exclusive faith in Him, to be upright, and to fulfil their devotional obligations, and to give zakat; for this is the even way. 5 The disbelievers among the People of the Book and the pagans will dwell forever in hell; they are the worst of all creatures. 6 But those that believe and work righteous deeds, they are the best of creatures. 7 Their reward [awaits them] with God: gardens of perpetual bliss, through which running waters flow, therein to abide beyond the count of time; well-pleased is God with them, and well-pleased are they with Him: all this awaits him who of his Sustainer stands in awe!. 8
