And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
