▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I do not need to swear by the setting of the stars 75 And this surely is great evidence if you can understand -- 76 that this is indeed a noble Quran, 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 Which none can touch except the purified. 79 It is a revelation sent down from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Then why do you dissimulate this Revelation? 81 and make it your daily bread [as it were] to call the truth a lie? 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 the while you are [helplessly] looking on 84 But We are nearer to him than ye, and yet see not,- 85 why then, if you are not revived, 86 Do ye not force it back, if ye are truthful? 87 Then if he is one of those drawn nigh (to Allah), 88 Then breath of life, and plenty, and a Garden of delight. 89 And if he (the dying person) be of those on the Right Hand, 90 (For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand. 91 And if he is one of those who give the lie (to this Message) and go astray, 92 he will be welcomed with boiling water. 93 and the roasting in Hell. 94 That indeed is the absolute truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 96
God the Almighty always says the truth.
