The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the sky with its constellations, 1 And by the Promised Day. 2 By one that witnesses, and the subject of the witness;- 3 Accursed be the People of the Ditch! 4 The people of the fuelled blazing fire. 5 When they were sitting near it 6 fully conscious of what they are doing to the believers, 7 Against these they had no grudge except that they believed in Allah, the Most Mighty, the Most Praiseworthy, 8 To whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. And Allah, over all things, is Witness. 9 Those who persecute the believers, men and women, and then have not repented, there awaits them the chastisement of Gehenna, and there awaits them the chastisement of the burning. 10 Verily, those who believe and do righteous good deeds, for them will be Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise). That is the great success. 11 VERILY, thy Sustainer's grip is exceedingly strong! 12 It is He who creates all things and causes them to return. 13 And He is the Oft-Forgiving, Full of Loving-Kindness, 14 in sublime almightiness enthroned, 15 the Executor of what He wills. 16 Have you not heard about the stories of the armies 17 Of Fir'aun (Pharaoh) and Thamud? 18 Nay! those who disbelieve are in (the act of) giving the lie to the truth. 19 But Allah doth encompass them from behind! 20 What is revealed to you is certainly a glorious Quran 21 in a Guarded Tablet. 22
