The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By oath of the heaven, and by oath of the nightly arriver. 1 what do you know what the night-visitor is? 2 (It is) the star of piercing brightness; 3 [for] no human being has ever been left unguarded. 4 So let man look - from what is he created. 5 He is created of water pouring forth, 6 That issued from between the loins and ribs. 7 Verily, (Allah) is Able to bring him back (to life)! 8 A day when the secrets will be examined. 9 He shall have neither strength nor helper. 10 By the heavens, ever-revolving, 11 and the replenishing earth, 12 the Quran is the final word, 13 It is no pleasantry. 14 Indeed, they are planning a plan, 15 and so am I: 16 Therefore give them some respite give them some time. 17
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
