The Sun (Al-Shams)
15 verses, revealed in Mecca after Destiny (Al-Qadr) before The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
I swear by the sun and its brilliance, 1 by the moon, which follows it, 2 and by the day as it reveals its glory 3 And by oath of the night when it hides it 4 And by oath of the heaven and by oath of Him Who made it. 5 by the earth and Who spread it, 6 by the soul and how He formed it, 7 And inspired it (with conscience of) what is wrong for it and (what is) right for it. 8 prosperous is he who purified it, 9 and truly lost is he who buries it [in darkness]. 10 Thamood belied in their pride 11 What time the greatest wretch of them rose up. 12 And the messenger of Allah said: It is the she-camel of Allah, so let her drink! 13 But they denied him, and they hamstrung her, so Allah doomed them for their sin and rased (their dwellings). 14 And He does not fear the consequence thereof. 15
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
