(Muhammad), remind them, by the Grace of your Lord, that you are neither a soothsayer or an insane person. 29 Or do they say: 'He is a poet, we are waiting for some misfortune to befall him' 30 Say: 'Await! I shall be awaiting with you.' 31 Enjoin them their understandings to this? or are they a people conumacious? 32 What! They say, “He has invented the Qur'an”? Rather they do not have faith. 33 Let them produce a scripture like it, if what they say is true. 34 Or were they created out of naught? Or are they the creators? 35 Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Rather, they are not certain. 36 Or do they own the treasures of thy Lord? Or have they been given charge (thereof)? 37 Or have they a ladder whereon they listen? Then let any of them that has listened bring a clear authority. 38 Or has He (Allah) only daughters and you have sons? 39 Or askest thou a hire from them so that they are with debt laden? 40 Or is it that they have access to (the Truths in) the realm beyond sense-perception which they are writing down? 41 Or seek they to ensnare (the messenger)? But those who disbelieve, they are the ensnared! 42 Or have they a deity other than Allah? Exalted is Allah above whatever they associate with Him. 43 If they should see a part of the heavens falling down, they would say, "A mass of clouds," 44 So leave them alone until they face the day when they will be struck dead from terror 45 when their stratagem shall be of no avail to them, nor shall they be succoured. 46 Surely a chastisement awaits the wrong-doers even before the coming of that Day; but most of them do not know. 47 And wait patiently for the judgment of your Lord, for surely you are before Our eyes, and sing the praise of your Lord when you rise; 48 and also celebrate His praise at night, and at the retreat of the stars. 49
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
