Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 And raiding at dawn 3 And therein raising dust. 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 The human being is certainly ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
