The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
The Clatterer! 1 What is the Striking? 2 And what will make you comprehend what the terrible calamity is? 3 A day wherein mankind will be as thickly-scattered moths 4 and the mount-ains like tufts of carded wool. 5 Then, he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) heavy, 6 He will live a pleasant life (in Paradise). 7 but those whose good deeds will be lighter (on the scale). 8 He will have his home in Hawiyah (pit, i.e. Hell). 9 And what can make you know what that is? 10 (It is) a Fire which is extremely hot. 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
