We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
