Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the swift scatterers 1 by the clouds which are heavily loaded with water, 2 and the smooth runners 3 Then by oath of those which distribute by the command. 4 that what you are promised is certainly true 5 and the Judgement shall doubtlessly take place. 6 By the heaven containing pathways, 7 Verily ye are in a divided opinion. 8 From which only he turns who is turned away. 9 Destroyed are the falsifiers 10 who are dazed in perplexity 11 They ask, "When is the Day of Recompense?" 12 [It will be] a Day when they will be sorely tried by the fire, 13 'Taste your trial! This is that you were seeking to hasten.' 14 Indeed the pious are among Gardens and water springs. 15 They shall receive what their Lord will bestow on them. They have done good works in the past, 16 They used to sleep but little in the night. 17 And used to seek forgiveness before dawn. 18 and in their wealth was a share for whosoever asked and for whosoever was prevented. 19 And on the earth are signs for the certain [in faith] 20 and also in yourselves. Can you not see? 21 There is in the heavens your sustenance, and whatever has been promised you. 22 So by oath of the Lord of the heavens and the earth, this Qur’an is the Truth, in the same language that you speak. 23

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
