No! By the moon 32 Consider the night when it departs, 33 And the daybreak when it shines; 34 Surely it (hell) is one of the gravest (misfortunes), 35 A warning unto humankind 36 Unto him of you who will advance or hang back. 37 Every soul is pledged to what it does, 38 Except the companions of the right, 39 [Who will be] in gardens, questioning each other 40 And (ask) of the Sinners: 41 [And asking them], "What put you into Saqar?" 42 and they shall reply, "We were not among those who prayed; 43 Nor did we feed the wretched. 44 And we have been wading with the waders. 45 and belied the Day of Recompense 46 "Until there came to us (the death) that is certain." 47 So no intercession will avail them. 48 Why now turn they away from the Admonishment, 49 as if they were startled asses 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Indeed, each one of them desires to be given unrolled scrolls. 52 By no means. In fact they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Nay, verily, this (Quran) is an admonition, 54 Let anyone who seeks guidance do so. 55 But none will remember, unless Allah wills, He is the Owner of fear, the Owner of forgiveness. 56
