And so, they who are bent on denying the truth are saying: "What! After we have become dust - we and our forefathers - shall we [all,] forsooth, be brought forth [from the dead]? 67 We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before. This is not but legends of the former peoples." 68 Say: "Travel in the land and see how (bad) was the end of sinners." 69 And grieve thou not for them, nor be in distress because of what they plot (against thee). 70 And they (the disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) say: "When (will) this promise (be fulfilled), if you are truthful?" 71 Say, "Perhaps some of the things which you wish to experience immediately are very close to you." 72 Verily your Lord is gracious to men, though most men are ungrateful. 73 And verily, your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they reveal. 74 And all the hidden secrets of the heavens and the earth are (written) in a clear Book. (The Preserved Tablet) 75 Surely this Quran declares to the children of Israel most of what they differ in. 76 And verily it is a guidance and a mercy unto the believers. 77 Verily, your Lord will decide between them (various sects) by His Judgement. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing. 78 So rely upon Allah; indeed, you are upon the clear truth. 79 Thou shalt not make the dead to hear, neither shalt thou make the deaf to hear the call when they turn about, retreating. 80 Thou shalt not guide the blind out of their error neither shalt thou make any to hear, save such as believe in Our signs, and so surrender. 81 ۞ And when the word shall come to be fulfilled concerning them, We shall bring forth a beast of the earth speaking unto them, that the people have not of Our signs been convinced. 82
