Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “I am purely a Herald of Warning – and there is no God except Allah, the One, the All Dominant.” 65 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is in between them, the Most Mighty, the Most Forgiving.” 66 Say: "This is a message tremendous: 67 from which you are turning away. 68 I had no knowledge of the Exalted Assembly when they argued [against the creation of man]: 69 Naught is revealed unto me except that I am a warner manifest. 70 [For,] lo, thy Sustainer said unto the angels: "Behold, I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 after I have shaped him and breathed of My spirit (I created) into him, fall down prostrate before him' 72 So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely. 73 But not Iblis: he was proud and he was one of the unbelievers. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis! What prevents thee from prostrating thyself to one whom I have created with my hands? Art thou haughty? Or art thou one of the high (and mighty) ones?" 75 He said, "I am better than him. You created me from fire and created him from clay." 76 He said: Go forth from hence, for lo! thou art outcast, 77 Upon thee shall rest My curse, till the Day of Doom.' 78 He (satan) replied: 'Respite me my Lord till the Day of Resurrection' 79 He said: “You are of those who have been granted respite 80 Until the day of the time appointed. 81 He said: by Thy majesty, then, I shall surely seduce them, all. 82 "Except Thy Servants amongst them, sincere and purified (by Thy Grace)." 83 He said: The truth then is and the truth do I speak: 84 I shall assuredly fill Gehenna with thee, and with whosoever of them follows thee, all together.' 85 (Muhammad), say, "I do not ask any reward for my preaching to you for I am not a pretender. 86 This [divine writ,] behold, is no less than a reminder to all the worlds — 87 And most certainly you will come to know about it after a time. 88
